In 2023 our philanthropy program, Silvercreek Gives, reached new heights as we dedicated our efforts to make a positive impact across the entire state of Idaho. Our commitment to philanthropy goes beyond just financial contributions; it’s about creating lasting change and fostering a sense of community.
THE HEART OF SILVERCREEK GIVES
At the core of Silvercreek Gives is the belief that small actions can lead to significant change. Our philanthropic endeavors focus on providing our agents the opportunity to give in one of three ways:
- Give Financially: identify needs in the community and provide quick access to donation requests
- Give Time: volunteer in areas that matter to our agents and impact our communities
- Give Knowledge: we provide valuable content that our agents can share through social channels, blogs, and email
2023 INITIATIVES
Silvercreek Gives not only touched the lives of numerous individuals through diverse non-profit partnerships, but also spearheaded three impactful initiatives to address specific needs in Idaho.
1. Idaho Gives: Empowering Agents to Make a Difference
As part of our dedication to community well-being, Silvercreek Realty Group actively participated in the “Idaho Gives” initiative. This statewide event, held annually, is a day of charitable giving that brings together nonprofits and supporters to strengthen communities across Idaho. In support of this initiative, we introduced a donation matching program for our agents. This initiative empowered our team members to contribute to the causes they are passionate about, amplifying the impact of their generosity. By matching their donations, we aimed to maximize the positive change we could collectively bring to the communities we serve.
2. Veteran & Military Support: Homes for Heroes
Recognizing the sacrifices made by our veterans and military personnel, Silvercreek Realty Group took proactive steps to support them, especially in the realm of housing. Our “Veteran & Military Support” initiative focused on providing education about available programs to assist veterans in securing and/or maintaining housing. Additionally, we directed donations strategically throughout the state to organizations dedicated to supporting veterans. By leveraging our resources and network, we aimed to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
3. No Empty Plates: Feeding Communities Across Idaho
In collaboration with local partners and non-profit organizations, Silvercreek Realty Group initiated the “No Empty Plates” campaign. Our goal was to address food insecurity by fundraising to provide 2,000 meals to community members throughout Idaho. Recognizing the importance of having a stable source of nutrition, we worked tirelessly to ensure that no one in our communities went to bed hungry. The campaign not only provided immediate relief but also highlighted the power of collective action in addressing essential needs within our neighborhoods.
