4th of July Happenings

Start your sparklers! Here’s a list of celebration hot spots throughout the state.

BOISE

Boise 4th of July fireworks are back to light up the Idaho sky! The show will begin in Ann Morrison Park where attendees can bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch the show. To keep within the city COVID-19 guidelines, the city is suggesting to maintain social distancing and therefore, is not allowing outside food and drink vendors at the park. Feel free to walk or bike up to the park as vehicles will not be permitted.

CALDWELL 

Southwest Idaho’s 4th of July celebration in Caldwell begins July 3rd at Memorial Park with a parade, car show, and contest opportunities for the kids such as ‘Most Patriotic Bike’ and ‘Most Patriotic Dog.’ The day continues at Van Slyke museum and closes with the car show award ceremony. Head over to Brothers Park on the 4th for their annual firework show!

COEUR D’ALENE 

One of Idaho’s biggest 4th of July celebrations is back after having to cancel the celebration last summer due to the pandemic. Coeur D’Alene is known for their grand firework show and phenomenal parade. The family festival with food and entertainment begins July 3rd. The party continues on the morning of the 4th for a parade of floats rainbowed in red, white, and blue and continues after sundown for fireworks at Lake City.

HAILEY DAYS 

For a small town holiday with a big celebration, visit Hailey, Idaho to find the ‘maximum fun for your Fourth of July’. Hailey offers a full weekend of activities for family and friends beginning Friday, July 2nd, running until Monday the 5th. Head on over for a pancake breakfast in the morning and continue through the Old West parade, firework extravaganza, and Old West Rodeo in the evening!

IDAHO FALLS 

Idaho Falls 4th of July fun takes place at Snake River Landing for their Riverfest celebration! From noon to dusk on July 3rd, family and friends are invited to spend the day enjoying live music from Teton Toyota Stage, bounce houses, horseback riding, helicopter rides, and food from over 20 different booths! Be sure to stick around for the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration Fireworks starting around 10pm.

Get to Payette lake early for a spot at the firework show happening on the 4th in McCall! McCall’s Independence Day consists of barbeques, ice cream cones at Ice cream Alley, and boat tours with McCall Lake Cruises. Nothing screams summer like a 4th of July on the lake!

TWIN FALLS

The magic continues in Twin Falls for their annual fireworks! The show begins around 10p at the College of Southern Idaho campus. Grab a seat on the campus lawn or watch the show from your car with family and friends to celebrate the holiday in Magic Valley!
