Make a difference for those in need. Aestegos is an amazing opportunity to help elevate our community in many ways.
“Our Mission is to Love, Feed, Clothe, Counsel and House the homeless of our community.
We believe all human beings should be respected and loved. Each person is special and deserves the chance to live their life to the fullest. We help those who have fallen down pick themselves up and gain independence.”
How you can help:
STREET OUTREACH PROGRAMBoise, we need you!All human beings should be respected and loved. Each person is special and deserves the chance to live their life to the fullest.Astegos helps those who have fallen down pick themselves up and gain independence. Our team of volunteers goes out into the community during the week to offer help to those experiencing homelessness or who are on the precipice of losing their homes. We want to help people who are struggling to stay housed with many useful resources and referrals.Astegos also believes in working with our other Treasure Valley non-profit brothers and sisters who serve the same working poor, food insecure and homeless residents of Boise. We believe that the answers to helping people are best served when like-minded people work hard and together to help each other help those in need.If you are looking to volunteer or help us in our outreach, please contact Tim@astegos.orgAstegos feeds several hundred people each week, including some of the 1500+ homeless children in our community.Astegos want to expand our food service capabilities and feed more homeless families and food insecure folks quality hot meals. We ask that if you are looking for a local charity to donate too, we humbly ask for your tax-deductible cash donations. Our goal is to have a hot food service 7 days a week so no one goes to bed hungry in the Treasure Valley. Counseling and referral services are available free of charge to those who need help at our center on Americana. If you can, please become one of our regular donors and help us keep Boise food secure and help those need some help finding affordable housing.
